	Story Behind the Song when I use to deliver pizza, there would be really slow nights where I'd sit in the back and write songs on the acoustic, there was a girl that worked next door that I had a huge crush on named Melissa, I thought someone had said her name only had one S in it. I thought that was unique but I later found out that it was the normal spelling. I started to write a song about how I felt, it needed something to really hit the spot so I wrote her nme down a piece of paper, then wrote a feeling for every letter in her name which I turned into the last verse. I never really thought I would ever have a chance with her but a few months down the road we started talking and I even got her to go to a show where I dedicated the song to her. The friend she brought with her was more shocked than Melissa. It got me a hug that night. We started going out a few weeks later, it didn't last. But the best part about it is I'll never forget, this song will last forever, long after we're all gone...
