	Story Behind the Song Autumn is my favorite time of year and I was thinking of how we move as fast as we can to get all the leaves up to prepare for winter... i use alot of symbolism in this song. maybe there is some connection of the way we live our lives with the the seasons, longing for the bitter cold winter, or our bitter cold lives... think about it. Lyrics As Autumn spills into the streets we scatter franticly to pick up and move back to our bitter cold lives. No pausing to linger in the beautiful reds and yellows that surround us. We long for the cold to take over. But we can't dig ourselves out this time. It may be the need for clensing, but our chances to be clean are over, for polution of our minds turn the fresh white snow into black filthy slush that lines the avenues of our hearts.
