	old song from when Kevin and Matt were in a band together called "Midterm" the original riff to this was written by Matt.

	Story Behind the Song This song took many months to complete, to be honest, the first time it was played the way it sounds on this recording, was when the band recorded it, before then it had about 6 different sets of lyrics, and so many different formula's, but this one works out best. Matt McClaine(bass guitar)wrote the inital riff, and Kevin took it from there. Lyrics Woke up one morning like nothing was wrong the song on the radio was a peaceful psalm you go downstairs to a crowded room you've just found out its over too soon you feel the pain that's deep inside you stay awake and start to cry what went wrong to this peaceful kid I knew just another victim of a labor called abuse How could you do that to me I did what you asked but still you hit me its the kind of life with nothing to lose because you a victim of domestic abuse you're not the only one who's been threatened by a close loved one but now it's time to carry on forget the memories, forget this song, its time to lose the abuse, to become strong how could you do that to me I did what you asked but still you hit me and now I've overcome, what you gave now I won't be your soul slave
