    Story Behind the Song
One of the first songs I ever wrote, probably about five years ago. I was living in a small apartment in a depressing part of town (El Cajon for you San Diego natives), and my only relief was to play in my room after work. I think I recently had a break up with my girlfriend at the time, and the lyrics just sort of came from that. I was fed up, relieved and sad at the same time.

    Lyrics
    Every passing of the clock
    I want you more
    But I get so scared
    Cause I know you understand
That I'm not the same man
    Who believed in you
I can sail high above those years
    Believe this truth
There's no price that I would ever pay
    Would you believe it

    Cause there's no turning away
Is there more I should say

    I lye awake at night
    No sleeping tonight
    I'm turning fates
Is this what I should do
    I'm a mountain or a stone
    Who believes it's true
That without you I would soon decay
    Would you believe it

Cause there's no turning back now
    I don't even know how
