	Story Behind the Song This song has a really interesting concept. You really have to listen to it a few times to understand. Xcal raps about his X Girl...and at first glance youd think hes talking about a person but in actuality hes talking about the world and his relationship with it before he got saved. He starts by talking about how close they were and how when he was with her he use to feel like he had to buy expense things to impress her. But here, hes actually referring to the world and how people often feel they need material things in order to feel valorized and happy. In the second verse Xcal starts to notice a few odd things about his ex girlfriend. For one she never gets upset and she seems to encouraging him to do things which deep down he knows are wrong. Finally in the third verse hes found a new friend in the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Lyrics (Chorus) My ex girl, my ex girl. She was my ex girl.
