	Story Behind the Song The first version of Crown of Life by Damon Boston was recorded before a live audience, August 3,1993. The song was re-written and a new chorus verse and chorus bridge were added to the ingredients. Boston taught the new version to the Vessels in the car on the way to record the song in the studio. Boston with music performed by Garland had previously produced the song in Boston's living room/studio! The vocals were recorded in less than five takes. The music tracks were being laid as the vocals were being recorded. It was Boston's and the Vessels first time in a real recording studio!It was said that the engineer was surprised to know that it was Boston's first time! The recording of Crown of Life along with other songs was recorded and mixed down in less than 4 hours! "WOW!"
