	Story Behind the Song The protagonist of this song is the offspring of a union between a light-house keeper and a mermaid. His siblings are a porpoise and a pig. The one is on exhibit as a talking fish, the other was served (for dinner) on a chafing dish. I'm still unsure what the point of this song is, but it sure is fun... Though much has changed since this was recorded, it is my hope that this will reveal to the curious a little of what I've been doing over the past couple of years. This was recorded in rehearsal, in June 2002. One run through, one take. The bass was added later. I perpetrated the studio trickery during mix-down and will answer for it in due course, I'm sure
