	This is an instrumental piece that stuck with us through the test of time. The title goes back to our very first album in 1997. The transition into the second part is new, and was the introduction to a song that didn't make it onto the album. But we felt we needed to keep parts of it.

	Story Behind the Song A Macabre Covenant was going to be the name of M.K.'s original album way back in 1997 when Keith was still working with A.J. Dalziel in Canada. A.J. went his own way working with his own projects, and Keith went down to Arizona. The dark gloomy riff played in this little piece was... "nice." There are harmonies built on top of the original riff. But the second part sounds really cool. Hope you like it.
