	Story Behind the Song this was originally titled "hoe laat es het". it first appeared on The Ham & Cheese Underground's 1998 recording. this version was recorded during the summer of 2002. i was lost. Lyrics take the open road. follow where it goes. it won't be long before it's gone. here & now... later never comes. it's all the same if you change your mind. i changed my mind. things weren't what they seemed again. once again i faltered the line, the line which had been drawn so many times before the last. i took the open road. i followed, never to really know where to go, what to do, who to see. follow my lead, just wait and see what's to come, what's been done, what is left for me. it's all the same if you change your mind. the line was drawn so many times before. how do i find the way from where i came? where does this road go that's not the same. i'm sick of trying every day, sick of trying every way. it's time to settle down. i took another road, well, guess who i followed? me, myself and i. where to go, what to do, who to see?
