	Story Behind the Song Premda postoje dvojbe (postoji nekoliko različitih tumacenja porijekla pjesme), čini se da je autor latinske himne Adeste fideles Englez John Francis Wade (1711-1786). Autor je skladbu 1751. godine uvrstio u svoju zbirku Cantus Diversi. 1760. prvi put su objavljene rijeci, a glazba 1782. godine. Zanimljivo je, da Wade, iako Englez, nije nikad preveo svoj latinski tekst na materinji jezik, već je to stoljece kasnije ucinio Frederick Oakely. Engleska verzija (O Come, al ye faitfull) koja se danas pjeva diljem svijeta, u medjuvremenu je, poput narodnih pjesama, dozivljela mnostvo preinaka. Pjesma je snimljena 1996. godine u studiju Glazba.
