Story Behind the Song
Written and recorded in one weekend, the backing track is a tribute to the bands I watched in high school. There were two bands, Verdict and Depervation, and the heavy riff and drum work is a tribute to guitarist Howard Hubard and drummer Brad Lewis while the bass line is influenced by James Carmickle. A first experiment with writting a song based around samples. All the guitar and bass, plus 99% of the intro, are all original samples produced by Revision Black and CYZ.
