Writen as a way to say goodbye to a grandfather who past away.
    CD: This One's For You

    Story Behind the Song
This was the one way I knew how to let off some steam after a grandparent past away. Always used to go over to his retirement home to play music, and he always wanted to know when I was coming back to play. On the day he died, it hit me that I waited to long, and I couldn't go back to play for him.

    Lyrics
This song that I sing for you
It just gets in the way
But if I tried to figure out,
    Everything you dreamed about
    You just had to say

    Look at my face
There's a smile in every place
    You keep on hanging on
    The moments that we shared
Won't be bared but will be where
Just play me one more song

I wish I could have seen it in your eyes
The reflection of your heart inside
If I could of played you one more song
Maybe I'd have realized my dreams
But I guess I'll never know

The days and the nights and the past has been my holy water to clense the skin
    I think about those days
When I was young and looking for my life
You were older but it felt alright
    You guided me away

    Look at my face
There's a smile in every place
    You keep on hanging on
    The moments that we shared
Were to tight but no one cared
Just play me one more song

I wish I could have seen it in your eyes
The reflection of your heart inside
If I could of played you one more song
Maybe I'd have realized my dreams
But I guess I'll never know
