Story Behind the Song
I wanted to produce a fast high energy funk chart to feature my new bass trumpet against a regular trumpet. I was also experimenting with more ACID tracks. The title chart to my new CD is the result. Hydronium is the opposite of hydroxide. The H2 or hydronium ion is what makes a solution acidic. This dumb play on words seemed appropriate as most of my original contemporary tunes tend to fit the ACID Jazz genre.
