Lyrics
The Burning Earth
Like a golden city, frozen in the immortal dungeons of rhetoric, (of memory,)
Romanticised by flaming tragedy - burned from the face of the earth,
In a battle of immaculate sophistries,
Its unknowing silence driving an illegitimate consent "noblemen" would mock,
So to do I set the recollection of my youth aflame,
Refusing to walk that same old path,
As time shapes me a new Eve,
And from my own rib that garden is now - burned from the face of the earth,
With what was endured,
Unbalanced with resentment,
But always known,
I know. -
Time..
My Youth..
The Burning Earth.
