Story Behind the Song
This song doesn't actually refer to a specific person, but to different times, places, and people at different times in my life.
The "echo" guitar used on this track is actually an acoustic with a pick-up strapped to it, run through an ancient fuzz box. Cool sound.
The track was recorded on an old 4 track tape setup. I've often thought of recording it over on the new digital equipment, but I'm afraid of losing the old "feel" of the song.
Lyrics
I remember,
one hot summer day in the country.
Do you remember me, or when you set me free.....
In the summer.
One September,
you dropped me a line said you were doin' fine.
Where are you now 'cause I'm remembering how, it was,
in the summer.
I remember,
one cold winters day in the city.
I looked for you,
I looked for you.
