	Story Behind the Song "Miles to Midnight" is the third song we wrote, in the early Fall of 2002. Lyrics Seven miles to midnight. I think my heart just hit the ceiling. Because my feet aren't touching the floor, and my body's reeling. You have a dizzying effect, but I can't get enough of this feeling. Leaving yesterday, as fast as we can go. Driving in and out of a storm. Headlights glaring, the radio's blarning, and you're making me warm. Five miles to midnight. I wear my head backwards to stop the spinning. I'm watching the stars and the streetlights - trying to figure out who's winning - as we move out of the past and into new beginnings. Finally made it to midnight. Do you think we can do this? Maybe if we hold on tight, we can get through this.
