    Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song with an old friend of mine charity (who i wrote a few songs with). The town we are from had a coffee time on belmont that she would go to and i had a coffee time i would go to on bleams. from my understanding she wrote the lyrics while sitting in the coffee shop (posibaly waiting for me to pick her up...) the one on belmont is gone, but i still hang out at the one on bleams from time to time. shane.

    Lyrics
Bleams 'n' Belmont (the coffee song)

    Verse

Sitting alone in the old coffee shop
There I waited for the thoughts to cross my mind
Something to say to the thoughtless and the blind

What have I done to be left out in the cold
Where have I walked so far to be alone
No where too near but too near is never home

    Chorus/

    See you can't see me
    Steal you can't steal me
    Free you can't free me

    They were waiting
    They were waiting
    They were waiting

    Verse

On my way to life death just itís disguise
With a fate that never lived, but never told a lie

Walking along the streets of endless gold
Somewhere along someone told a lie
Cause I'm walking desolate roads and I havenít seen the light

    Chorus

    See you can't see me
    Steal you can't steal me
    Free you can't free me

    They were waiting
    They were waiting
    They were waiting

    Verse

Raise me from the dead so I may get some sleep
I looked at my life and felt the lord weep
I feel jesus weep on my hair to his feet

There must be a light in the old coffee shop
There they waited for the thoughts to cross their minds
Something to say to me, the thoughtless and the blind

    Chorus/

    See you can't see me
    Steal you can't steal me
    Free you can't free me

    They were waiting
    They were waiting
    They were waiting
