	Story Behind the Song This song is a true story. I originally wrote and recorded it about me but felt it was TOO much about my life. I re-wrote it to be more happy-go-lucky and played the second recording for my good friend and talented writer Alex Amado. Alex felt the story was not strong enough so I asked Alex to take a shot at re-writing the lyrics. Oddly enough the song came full circle with the story improved but once again about me. I recorded it a third time and stuck with it. It took about 2 months and 27 scribbled-on sheets of paper to get it right. There were approximately 18 different verses and endless variations.
