After a spontaneous night of driving around with two other good friends on the first warm spring night of the year, I realized how much these little things can impact our lives. This one's kind of funky, kind of folky.

    Story Behind the Song
Based on a spontaneous night with two good friends, a night I won't ever forget. I still remember Erin with her feet out the car window.

    Lyrics
We rolled down the windows as we pulled out of the drive. Winter's gone for another year and springtime has arrived. We all got it and I turned the key and the engine starte without stalling. We set out on our little journey while the sun behind us was slowly falling. Well I've been there before but I still need directions. Because inside the ciy every inersection looks like every other intersection. We got kings and queens and I never know where they meet. I just know I'll never get the hang of these one way streets. And I remember how you hung your feet outide the window. And I remember the train tracks we took too fast we should have taken slow. And I ordered a coffee while you sipped you tea out on the steps. The Angst was packed and nothing lack. It was a night I won't soon forget. The first warm spring night of the year, warm even after the sunset. Folks were standing outside of the cafe talking about the weather over coffee and cigarettes. And my coffee was so hot it burnt my mouth. I just had to laugh when you almost spit yours out. So I set it down to let it cool down and just watched the show. We finished up our drinks and hit the road. Yeah and I remember you said that you liked the band that played that night. And I remember the two of you bickering all throughout the night. And I just sat and enjoyed the evening and the warm spring air that came. It was the subtle breeze that made me believe that everyone there felt the same.
