Remastered and edited version of the original. Edited out sound check at the beginning and faded out at the end.
One of my earliest recordings. Done in '75 in my grandmothers attic in Cincy Ohio using a Dokorder reel to reel four track and two mics. The ceiling downstairs is cracked from the drums! I did everything I could not to disturb grandma but the drums, well, not much I could do there. Harkens back to Marvel comics, Star Trek reruns and wintery nights in cincy. Oh yeah, that squeaky noise at the end of the guitar lead, I was trying to use the pole piece on the rhythm pick up as a fret... kinda didn't work the way I had hoped but it's still freaky cool.

Story Behind the Song
Black Sabbath/Led Zep feel. Fat low end rumble. One of my earliest recordings. Done in '75 in my grandmothers attic when I was 18 and didn't know what I wanted. The guitar was recorded so low in volume you can here the pick striking the strings through the mic as I sat cross legged in front of the amp. The Real Audio file sounds a bit thin due to phase cancellation when mixed to mono. The MP3 sounds much better.Guitar: 71 Gibson SG Special with a cracked neck.Bass: NoneDrums; '74 Ludwig 5 piece Clear Vistalite kit with a 28" Bass Drum, ala John Bonham.Guitar Amp: Fender Twin w/ LPB-1 and Master Volume on 1. Maestro Phase Shifter. Two Sure mics.
