	This is an arrangement i did of Vince Guaraldi's Christmas Time Is Here. Christmas time being me favorite time of year, and this being the song that i hear most often in my head during the season, i thought it would be appropriate to write such an arrangement. This recording is a direct recording from the console at Mix One Studios in Boston, MA where it was recorded. Hopefully, a better mix will be up on the site soon.
	Story Behind the Song i originally wrote the first draft of this arrangement back in the winter of 2001, one year ago today. it was for my writing for orchestra class. it was a tough semester for me as i endured health problems. i rewrote the arrangement for a smaller ensmble this year and had the opputunity to have it recorded november 23, 2002 at mix one studios, boston, ma. the song was written by vince guaraldi with lyricws by lee mendelson. the original recording can be found on "Vince Guaraldi - A Charlie Brown Christmas" on Fantasy Records. Lyrics Christmas time is here, happiness and cheer. Fun for all that children call their favorite time of year. Snowflakes in the air, carols everywhere. Olden times and ancient rhymes of love and dreams to share. Sleighbells in the air, beauty everywhere. Yuletide by the fireside and joyful memories there. Christmas time is here, we'll be drawing near. Oh, that we could always see such spirit through the year.
