	Story Behind the Song My best friends (The Winder Crew) lost their best friend, Will Wages in December of 1997. I saw how much that the loss of this young man greatly affected their lives. So, while I was sitting out at my grandfather's lake in Jackson, MS I began to write the music and lyrics to "The Winder Song". Again the Lord had blessed me by giving me the words and music to write the Winder Song.
