	Story Behind the Song My brother lives in NY City. I have been to the World Trade Center a few years back. I spent from sunup to sunset on the top floor. My son was on the roof on a 12/31/200. My son will be there for New Years 2002. I can't wait to go again. NY is great. The folks are fantastic. FDNY, I wrote and sang this song for you. Lyrics This is a tribute to those men and women who gave their lives in NY City. God knew of the things you'd do that long and fateful day. FDNY you are my heroes. Death and destruction came from the air that day. The towers were at ground zero. We don't know your names but heroes just the same. Heaven was waiting for you. I sing this song for you those men and women who saved all those souls. FDNY you are my heroes. You gave your very lives young men and women died to fight a cause that they believed in. When a tower fell on the ground it fell. I could'nt believe what I was seeing. FDNY you saved many lives others running for cover. This is a tribute to those men and women who gave their lives for what they believed in. Death and destruction came from the air that day. Heaven was waiting for you. You saved all those lives even though you'd die. FDNY you are real heroes. When the other tower fell we all prayed ourselves. Angels are singing to you.
