UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN was inspired by the death of NYC's first official casualty of 9/11, Fr. Mychal Judge. The song is dedicated to all those who have gone on ahead of us and to those mourning the absence of someone they love. It's about hope and the promise of Christian faith...that new life begins after death and that we will be together once again. |

Lyrics
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
Verse 1
First to lend a hand, with never asking why.
He always had a smile but he was not ashamed to cry.
Loyal friend of unfailing honor; all he had he gladly shared.
And when we looked into his eyes, Lord, we always saw You there.
(Chorus)
And we thank You for the memories,
Though he is gone, we won't forget.
We thank You for this true friend;
Who will live in our hearts, until we meet again.
Verse 2
You gave him life then called him home; he lives now Heaven’s peace,
Passing through the flames to Glory, where death and mourning cease.
We’re not asking why he was taken; we know his work on earth was through.
And we are blessed in every thought of him;
Lord, he was so much like You. (Chorus)
In this time of missing him, piercing pain that never ends
Let Truth rise up from the ashes; we will be together again. (Chorus)
