	Story Behind the Song Most people think this song is about a stalker ex-girlfriend or something of the sort. It actually is a parallel I used from a story out of the Bible, where Joseph is a servant for this guy Potiphar and Potiphar's wife keeps trying to seduce him. He refuses time and time again until she traps him in the house and tries to force him to go to bed with her. He runs out of the house and tears out of his coat. She is so upset that she tells Potiphar that Joseph tried to rape her and that, when she screemed, he ran out and left his coat. The parallel in my life is that when I'm in a situation of temptation, I rarely "run away". I kind of think about it and often times compromise my values and convictions. It basically boils down to whether I choose to honor myself or to honor God. If you're disappointed that this isn't about an ex-girlfriend...sorry. Lyrics Run Away Copyright 2001 M.
