This latest track was recorded, informally, during a musician "hang," as drummer and pal Celso Alberti calls it. This recording of this song is the first time any of the party guests had played it, and the first time Avi ran through the final lyrics. However, it's one of our favorite tunes, so we wanted to share it with you, rough around the edges and all. |

Story Behind the Song
What the heck is this song about?!
If we told you in great detail, that would take away the fun of you finding your own meaning. As for the title, the lyricist says:
"The reference to Bob Dylan in the song, it's a reference to him as an icon of an age where popular music had social significance and our musical stars reflected and helped to define the voice and consciousness of an entire generation. We believe now is a time to bring back that kind of music, music that is, as the saying goes, not only good, but good for something."

Killigan Wee was laid on his back
Tried to roll over, opinion attacked
Everyone offered to help him stay slack
Night of the Joker
Shelia BlueLake sputtered and drowned
Called out for help before she went down
Trapped in the Net, no help could be found
Night of the Joker
CHORUS
Here on this eve, evening of laughter, you just sit back and look at the frames
They can foretell coming disaster, and you can run for the fridge, on the breaks.
Tanisha Chow took to the air
When she looked back-wards, nothing was there
Another virgin trampled by fear
Night of the Joker
Billy Bob D sat himself up
Tried out his sound, fell on his duff
Old man could see that times had got rough
Thus spoke the Joker
Teach us to fight for visions we see
Teach us to speak and set the truth free
Find us a way to save what remains
You are the Joker
CHORUS (double)
Here on this eve, evening of laughter, fill up your cup from those just of age
Nobody sees sky raining plaster, we are all, occupied, on the stage
