Story Behind the Song
For years I've watched crows is the evenings fly in the same direction everyday. Where did they go, where did they come from. The commuted just like people. Which is crazier, commuting people or commuting crows, screaming as they fly or drive.
Lyrics
Every eveing when the sun goes down
I see the Crows fly (x3)
Stuck in traffic on my way back home
I see the Crows fly (x3)
Sick and crazy just sitting here
I see the Crows fly (x3)
I watch and wonder
Dead halt down under
Begin to fidget
Oh, I get manic
Fast, never frantic
no room for panic
Talking, thinking, buzzing, drinking
142 miles per second, per second
Then comes the come down
The let down
You bottom out
Go horizontal
The day comes when you can't get out of bed
you can't raise your head
The clock is ticking
Stop watch clicking
No time to run this race
And there's no space
Can't maintain the pace
Wings on the sunset
They're in ruts
That I cannot see
They only
Appear to be free
The crows are driven just like me
I see the Crows fly (x3)
We're only crazy as we need to be
I see the Crows fly (x3)
