	Story Behind the Song As a psychologist I was often witness to people's journeys of self-discovery. Whether it was family, or work, or personal issues, the individual had something to learn about him or her self. And this journey would often take them into unknown territory. The return trip was usually to a familiar place (home) but at a whole new level of understanding. No different than the physical trip really. If you go away on a trip to visit far off places you will come home different because of what you've been exposed to. In self-discovery or therapy the journey is more deliberate and usually quite intense. Coming Home is about rediscovering your self in a new way and is typically a positive experience. This song went through many incarnations as well, finally resting in the form we have here.
