Story Behind the Song
The song is based on an idea for a story about a break out in a wwII prison camp. Baz Hart wrote the song in a small town called stratfor..in New Zealand. His band, The Stone Angel..liked the idea and the sound. When recorded it took only one take for the music..and a seperate tkae for the lyrics...other wise it sounds fairly live.
