	Story Behind the Song Well "white box on fire" is about a white box i found in a burnt out house on the council estate where i grew up. i saw it in what was the living room and it seemed the only thing in there that hadn't burnt. it was scorched here and there and the white paint was bubbled and blistered but somehow it had survived so i took it home with me. when i took to clean the box i noticed that it had been nailed together crudely but very exact so since then i've resisted all curiosity to open the box and i've dragged it with me every where in the hope that if i'm in a fire at home and i have my box with me i'll be alright. at this very moment it sits next to my sampler.
