	This song is about a love for an ex-girlfriend, and how it's different because she's gone, but she's still around, which kinda makes it bittersweet.

	Story Behind the Song Alice, my ex-girlfriend, is the motivation for this song. I love her with all my heart, and I always will, but things are kinda weird with us right now. So I got this idea of how everything was bittersweet and it took me about 15 minutes to write the lyrics, a couple of days to get the music, and about 8 hours in a recording session. Lyrics She calls me all the time To tell me about her life And in fits of crying Drags my heart along the floor She takes my mind, and twists and turns it Into something she thinks Would make it all better She jumps into the line Right behind Everyone else Who seems to always be there I fall into confusion In time And that's when it all falls down But she can't put me behind her Right now No she can't leave me behind her Cause I won't let her leave me I think I'm goin crazy When I look into that mirror up there On the wall And I see her reflection Turn around But she's not there Hasn't been there for a while And you're not behind me Haven't been there for a while But you show up sometimes And it makes me smile But all the smiles in the world Won't take away my pain For all the times I can't see your face
