Another early song by Rick Keinat and myself that is along the same lines as "The Worlds Got A Head Start on Me." This one dates back to around 1985. It is a cute litte swinging ditty about lost love on the bar scene in Buckhead, Ga. Rick and I LOVED to laugh, a lot, and sometimes this would usually carry over into our music. This is a VERY raw demo that was recorded dry through a very beat up Sunn 6 channel board into a TASCAM cassette Porta One in my living room. The finished version has yet to be recorded. | MP3.com CD: The Jeff Pike Studio Sessions - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
Rick knew this lovely young woman by the name of Charlotte Love back in the day. To my recollection (and I may be wrong) he was quite infatuated with her, but no matter how hard he tried he could never seem to "score"....except once...but...well, I'll let the song tell you the rest of the story. So this song is kind of a play on words using Charlottes namesake to tell the story.
