	Story Behind the Song The strange truth about this song is that it came to me in a rather extraordinary if creepy dream. When I woke up I tried to recreate the creepy feeling and sound of the dream (it took approximately 20 minutes to write and record). The dream consisted essentially of a dark vision of the surreality and absurdity of life. I had this creepy sense of the universe- of everything that is- as a single, indivisible and utterly indescribable entity which nevertheless seemed perfectly "described" as a brief but somehow also eternal "scream"- one scream before dying. Something akin to this song played in the background throughout this strange dream, which left me feeling haunted for the rest of the day.
