	"Assimilate" first appeared on iNFeCTeD's 1993 demo cassette "Prick". When that cassette won them a 2 album deal with Shock Records, iNFeCTeD recorded a new version of the song for their debut "Crawlspace" (1994). With a nod to Godflesh, the song is an early example of iNFeCTeD's industrial/avant garde leanings.
