Powerful, dark, sultry head rock, with a cutting-edge chorus and moody incessant bass, underlying a patient, rhythmical groove. This song will take you places Nu-metal never has before. Hope you come back all right... |

Story Behind the Song
A moody, dark and dirty look at repetition in life and its unsavoury consequences.
Lyrically the song plunders the psyche of a man obsessed with God, but unable to make changes in his life.
Musically we used heavy guitars on teh chorus to promote a feeling of rage and to get your heads rocking, but maintained a lighter, more epic dub feel on teh verses for contrast.
It took a couple opf weeks to write it, and a lot of practice to get it this tight.
Check it out.
Lyrics
Same Old
Three times the pain in a God like way
What was yours is mine to waste
The taste is bleak
It leaves you cold
Use it up wear it out
Same Old
Use it up wear it out Same Old
Coming up on the blind side
Subtract then divide
Then your left with the figure
It's a zero
Your the hero
Check and rewind
Get down in your darkside
Are you awake
Open wide
Make it big
So you know
Forget about the Same Old
