	Story Behind the Song Song was written all at once be myself. It was written in light of the religious associations our government and our nation seem to think we promote. Have you seen all those billboards that say "God Bless the U.S.A." ? Somewhere I read that God truly blesses the meek and least of these...not the rich and powerful who tax the poor...just a thought. I am not un-patriotic, I am all for the U.S. But we have a lot of things to change and lot of power to do good things that is wasted on war and greed. Lyrics oh let the hate break away at the dawning of this new day don't let it build so high inside but don't let it rage through those violent eyes A little patience, oh a little sympathy can turn this constant backfire around you'll see.
