Metal song with an introduction embellished with arpeggios followed by percussive strumming. Big sound, a veritable wall of melodic noise, full of distortion, classical violin-like solo. Soft singing combined with the heavy background accompaniment creates a unique sound, unlike any other metal band. |

Story Behind the Song
Yet another of Rob's creations. As usual, Pat contributes background voice, otherwise all instruments played by Rob.
Verse is a bit dark. There's only one place where I feel safe and happy. This sheltered spot is my secret hideaway, to where I flee when I'm in that mood, where no one can find me.
Chorus carries a more optimistic message: I'm no longer alone. There is a special someone who can show me the way out of my seclusion. Your smile can make the darkness go away. Come and give me a helping hand. Lead me, show me the way.
Lyrics
Verse:
Where's the place I want to be?
Where no one can find me?
There's no escape for me,
Where's my secret hideaway?
Chorus:
Give me a sign,
Show me the way,
Tell me the things,
No one can say.
Give me a sign,
Lead the way,
Make darkness
Fade away.
Verse:
What's the point of being free?
I'm a victim of destiny,
Illusions and insanity,
Insanity arrives without fail.
