	Story Behind the Song Steve and I were headed back to work after lunch one afternoon and it dawned on us: Dorothy was deceived. Good Glenda wasn't so good to poor Dorothy. She told Dorothy she had to follow the yellow brick road and jump through all sorts of 'hoops'. But in the end, revealed to Dorothy she was wearing her ticket home the whole time. Pretty low of Glenda if you ask me.
