	Story Behind the Song This is the first project that Patman and I worked on together. After meeting at a club in San Francisco and initially discussing the possibility of working together, Pat came by the crib and brought a demo with about 4 songs. He let me borrow the demo to listen to it for a few days. After getting a feel for his vocal style, I developed a vision for the direction I wanted to take with him. I created 3 instrumental tracks that I thought would work well for him. The first one we wrote to was this song, "The Jonez" Another one of those initial instrumentals was used for our next song, "Wrong" which you can also listen to here on MP3.com.
