An outstanding cover of the Smithereens hit written by Pat DiNizio. The Boo Dads nailed this one with killer guitar by Joel DaSilva.
CD: Long Time Comin'   Label: Mosher St. Records
    Credits: Pat Dinizio, Smithereens

    Story Behind the Song
This song is one of the outstanding Smithereens songs from the early 1990's written by Pat DiNizio. The Boo Dads have worked with Pat and collaberated on a few tunes when they were called THE UNDERBELLIES.
We decided to record this great song and place on the new CD - LONG TIME COMIN'. It's getting rave reviews and Pat loves it.

    Lyrics
    It was long ago.
    Seemed like yesterday,
Saw you standing in the Rain
And then I heard you say.
