Story Behind the Song
I got very tired of the way that so many contemporary artists are using their music to tell about how cool they are and promote this idea that being hardcore and stuck up is cool. So many songs are like, "I'm the best rapper ever, let me tell you about it..." And it's so stupid. Artists should be promoting unity and love, and the attitude that most artists are going for is not that at all, so I wrote this song to wake people up to the fact that any artist who uses his talent to promote himself is wasting your time and giving you nothing. And any artist who's main goal is to shock with offensive material is just trying to hide behind an image and there's nothing hardcore about it.
Lyrics
So making people blush is the way to get off now, Gotta be a thug so your mom will be proud, you're hard as plastic, try for spastic, gotta be above all the love and romantic,
So makin people low is the way to get high now, and breaking all the rules is the way to get by now, you try for luscious, but you can't touch this, so hard core that you're making me nauseus
You fly like a stone
You whine and you moan
But let me tell you man it's all superstion
I'm on a mission,
To leave you with a vision
Yada dada don't let the world corrupt you, don't let the norm control you, don't let the love elude you, or freaks pursue you, you've gotta remain cool,
You sway like a door,
You beg like a whore,
but let me tell you man it's all superstition, I'm on a mission, to leave you with a vision.
