    Story Behind the Song
OK, all of us that like to taste a little beer are now overwhelmed with DUI restrictions, and just plain harrasment from the local officers of the law. What if we all stuck together? Can we get our freedom back? That's what this song is about.

    Lyrics
Told the guys i'll be there in awhile
but this cops got me pulled over to the side
i only had to go just a short mile
but he said that he's takin me for a ride

he grabbed my arms and cuffed me to the door
he said he'd be right back and that's for sure
i'm thinking i'll regret those last 10 beers
cause there's more cops than i've ever seen in 15 years

one night of action on the wrong side of the law
gets those bright lights dancing and your bound to take a fall
they come a runnin the most you ever saw
when your out on the town and your runnin
from the wrong side of the law

they gathered round me and i got a little scared
with my free arm i covered up my face
those night sticks started falling and i fell down to my knees
the hardest road that i've ever known could be my saving grace
all at once the blows stopped fallin
    hear the silence calling
the cops formed a circle like a wagon train
i can hear my friends start gaining
    hear the punches raining
when the fighting stopped the cops just ran away
