	Story Behind the Song The motivation was pretty much Andy saying, "We should have a song about a dog named Tongo who could see tomorrow. It should be called "Tongo, the Dog That Saw Tomorrow" ." And it was so. Lyrics in the town i used to live there was a dog whose name was tongo he could see the future, present and past. he used to bark about the day when he would go to vegas, strike it rich at baccarat and buy a yacht. but what ever happened to the good ol' days when a dog was a dog and he knew his place when he knew if he stole your shoes or--say your car--he got a slap on the wrist and a muzzle on the face! we don't wanna see tongo the dog that saw tomorrow cos he stole our babies and sold them to the circus and now they're walking on the tightrope and so am i and so are we. tongo wasn't like the other dogs in town, he didn't have a fancy collar and a movie deal. he had to sink to telling fortunes to the people in the town so he could find a home and a meal. but one day tongo couldn't take it anymore, he got tired of being a side-show act, so he thought up ways to get back at everybody and make up for everything he lacked! please don't let me near tongo the dog that saw tomorrow cos he lost all my $$$ on the lotto, buying fifteen hundred of the same five numbers which were: 1 2 3 4 5.
