Story Behind the Song
Stephanie was watching a behind the scenes on MTV about a heavy metal band (which shall remane nameless)that "allegedly" took advantage of their girl groupies that traveled witht he band. That is why this song has a BIG 80's sound.
Lyrics
FOUR BOYS
Lyrics, Melody & Music by: Stephanie Masiello
VERSE:
Four boys heading nowhere, for a spot on an empty train.
Two are drunk and one is stoned and one is high on cocaine.
The girl on the back of the bus says how’d I get here? How’d I get here?
I guess maybe it was just a one night stand with that whole band but……..
CHORUS:
If you love me then please tell me so, so I can understand. This crazy rock and roll life you live but you won’t take my hand. So if it’s over let me know.
VERSE:
Those boys, they don’t care much. Didn’t even apologize. Cause they are riding in the fast lane, they don’t care if she cries. The girl on the back of that bus says I’m not worth it, I’m not worth it. I guess maybe it was just a one night stand with that whole band but…
CHORUS:
If you love me then please tell me so, so I can understand. This crazy rock and roll life you live but you won’t take my hand.
BRIDGE:
But I suppose you think it’s fine to play your games and mess with my mind. It shows how close we are when you trade me in for your guitar oh…..
CHORUS:
And if you love me then please tell me so, so I can understand. This crazy rock and roll life you live but you won’t take my hand. And if you hate me at least tell me so, so I can understand. This crazy rock and roll life you live you call yourself my man and you don’t want me anymore.
Four boys heading nowhere, for a spot on an empty train. Two are drunk and one is stoned and one is high on cocaine.
