Story Behind the Song
There's a very good reason the religious symbolism is so thick, obtuse, and incongruous, but I'll leave that up to you. It's a very silly song if you know what I'm on about, but I won't spoil your fun. A quick hint: The sound clip at the beginning isn't as unrelated as you might think.
I think it's us in superb form, and if you have a problem with the vocals being too quiet it's BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO IT LOUD ENOUGH. Hard fucking Akucore punk rock is not 'soft hits of the eighties'; you need to crank this shit loud and start rocking the fuck out and breaking things like a decent human being should.
Lyrics
The Angel, the Devil, the Whore of Babylon
The Story of my adultery, abomination unto God
Blue seraphim entices me and raises up my tree
Of good and evil, forbidden fruit, I set the angel free
From the tyranny of the deity, I crack the seventh seal
I crucify her with my cock and teach her how to feel
I crucifix thee
I crucifuck you
With the Angel gone, the Devil comes, and come she surely did
To punish me with ecstasy for the wages of my sin
Like Lucifer, this fallen figure can only bring me down
And bind me with adamantine chains and drag me underground
I can't be saved, I can't abstain, my soul has surely fell
She crucifies me with hard love and brings me blissful hell
I crucifix thee
I crucifuck you
And though I broke the covenant with my eyes
I can't abstain though I pray and try
Supernatural love's just sand in the apocalypse
I want you sinner, and your lucious lips
It's your mystery that gets me going
As you ride up on the beast that keeps growing
I want you Whore, I want your lust
And as the Lord says, let's crucifuck
I crucifix thee
I crucifuck you
