	I have many "Senior Adult" friends. And often I meet up with them in various performance venues. In the "Hymns" genre of music, this would have to be a favorite when it comes to reqeusts. If I had to dedicate this rendition to any one person, it would have to be to my father-in-law, Frank Padgett, who never misses an opportunity to ask "The Old Rugged Cross" be played. When I first recorded this song over 10 years ago, I remember learning something about music arranging that continues to stay at the forefront of my mind when arranging... pick a clear definable style at the beginning of the piece, don't stray too far during the piece, then come back to it at the end, sort of summarizing the piece and tying it all together
