A truly unique song with edge and attitude... and just enough melodic flavor to keep you singing long after its over. |

Story Behind the Song
We have all been in that relationship with that person who was just a little on the crazy side, always on the edge, always going too "fast".
This was a full on FKJ production, I'm talking about getting out the calculators to check how many beats are in a certain time signature for the drums so that they match up with another time signature that the guitars are in, to come up with a result that is much unlike anything audible today. A little too involved if you ask me... This song grew out of a little Riff into a progressive masterpiece that has the greatest singable chorus. We're going too Fast!
Lyrics
Fast- FatKnuckleJack
Take another breath she said as she slowly looked away.
Let all of your intentions disappear.
There's no turning back she had me in her hands and then she'd say "Let me show you everything beginning with today, yeah!"
Were going too fast, yeah.
Were going too fast, yeah.
Now there was no escaping, the web she'd spun for me.
I could stay here all night, living this dream.
She didn't have to do much, just to keep me here.
Well get a little closer she said as she whispered in my ear, yeah!
Were going too fast, yeah.
Were going too fast, yeah.
She was the last thought I had before I turned off the light.
I knew she would be here sometime in the night... and I knew she would never let go.
She was the last thought I had before I turned off the light.
I knew she would be here sometime in the night... and I knew she would never let go.
Were going too fast, yeah.
Were going too fast, yeah.
