	Story Behind the Song I had a flat tire in front of the home of some people I didn't know. But when they saw me, they came over and changed my flat tire. It got me to thinking about all the kind acts that are done everyday. I think we should reflect more on all the positive around us. I took a recording of this song along with some candy back to these nice people in the house to say thanks. Why don't you make up some of your own verses to celebrate the good people you know? Before my daughter's wedding, she and I were on the run. Working on the decorations, but they weren't quite done. Had to get dressed. Sister says, "Leave it to me." When we came back, it was as pretty as could be. Chorus My kids are grown with their own families, But they come running if I have a need. They do not make me feel like I'm a burden. They are good, good people everyone. Chorus I was stranded 400 miles from home. I only felt deserted till I got to the phone. I called up a friend that I depend on. He dropped everything until he got me back home. Chorus My mom needed open heart surgery. My boss said, "That's where you need to be." Even though I'd worked there less than a year. When I got back my full paycheck was there. Chorus My neighbors follow the Golden Rule. They share a cup of sugar or just the right tool. My little push mower wouldn't cut that tall grass. They brought their riding mower & did it real fast. Chorus Then there are those you haven't met before. Until you have a flat tire at their front door. They change your tire and they treat you kind.
