The sounds from the Guitar, Strings and Piano (with an Echo Effect added) mesh together to give it a "Calm", "Peaceful" and "Relaxing" aura throughout the song. And after hearing the track a couple of times, a clear picture of being in Venice / Italy came into my mind.

    Story Behind the Song
    This happened all by accident:
After taking a vacation to go up to Blackpool to see some of my relatives, when I came back I thought that I'd have another go at creating another song.
During my stay at Blackpool, I got together with my Uncle's and a few cousins and had a few "Jamming Sessions" with them (although I had to sit-back and listen because my keyboard was too heavy to take along for the ride.
Both my Uncles and cousin Cliff all played the acustic guitar and I enjoyed the sound of the sustain of every note that the body of the instrument caught in the body and then outside of the hole.
Three days after arriving back home I decided that it was time that I got back into the swing of things.
Five years ago I'd been working on an instrumental track, but never actualy finished it off because I felt that I didn't have the right sounds for the song.
I tried the melody with the sound of a guitar (after the influence with my vacation), then added Orchestra Strings and then tried adding a piano. But for some reason it still didn't sound right - it sounded bare.
I left it and came back the next day, listened to the track a couple of times and then experimented with the reverb on the Piano. i finaly found the right one and they gelled perfectly together.
The only Problem that faced me now: A Name for the track.
I played it to a few people and they said that it reminded them of Venice and that it sounded as if it represented a relationship between two people (whether it was athe beginning or the end of the relationship they weren't sure). And with that the title was born.
I tried it out on another music website to see what other responses it would recieve and was surprised five days later when i logged onto the same website 5 days later and found that it had reached No.1 in the Charts for "Easy-Listening / New Age"!
Even as I write this its still up there.
