	Story Behind the Song Family of Man," We're just a family and we are all in His great hands. One of my folk songs that I have taught many people including Irish Missionary Nuns who work throughout the world. I would not be surprised to be in Africa and hear it being sung there. I wrote it many years a go after viewing Photos in book of Steichen photos that I really appreciated. I believe it may have been called Family of Man. The strength and humanity of his photos inspired the start of the “ Family of Man”. I wrote more verses later, as I was moved by current situations I became of in the world. Not all the verse are included, They have become hidden in the creative chaos of my studio. Lyrics Some time mankind is not so kind when hungry babes are crying And we that have look away and say that they’re not mine We’re just a family a family of man We’re just a family and we’re all in his great hands .
